O'Mahony Craft Cooperage is a family-run Cooperage based in East Cork, Ireland. Founded by Cooper Killian O'Mahony, we make every cask, barrel, and coopered vessel by hand — the same way it has been done for centuries.
Killian has spent his career honing his craft under some of the most respected Coopers in the industry, and it's that knowledge, passed down and hard-earned, that goes into every piece we make.
Our commitment to premium craftsmanship means every piece is built to perform, and last — combining time-honoured techniques with meticulous attention to detail. We use sustainably sourced wood in our solar-powered Cooperage, reviving the art of traditional coopering with an eye firmly on the future.
We bring traditional coopered vessels — miniature barrels, tankards and churns — into the modern world, each made to order — customised and charred to your exact specifications, deepening the character and complexity in every drop of your chosen spirit or wine.
